StEP Release E-Waste World Map
March 2014: In an effort to improve information about the quality and quantity of e-waste around the world, the UN University's Solving the E-Waste Problem (StEP) initiative has released a world map detailing e-waste at the country level. The map is intended to inform both private and public policy-making.
The map provides comparable, country-level data on the amount of electrical and electronic equipment on the market, and the resulting amount of e-waste generated. It also provides links to e-waste rules, regulations and policies.
StEP plans to update the map regularly, and welcomes the submission of new and additional data. [StEP E-Waste World Map]
